Elementary School Graduation 2027 will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 9, 2027, at Franklin Academy. This special School Community Event honors our fifth-grade students as they complete elementary school and prepare to begin the next stage of their education in 6th grade at Franklin Academy Middle School.
Graduation from elementary school is an important milestone that celebrates years of academic growth, personal development, friendship, and achievement. Because Franklin Academy is a Kindergarten through 12th Grade school, our graduates are not saying goodbye to their school community. Instead, they are continuing their educational journey at Franklin Academy as they transition from elementary school to middle school.
Celebrating Our Elementary School Graduates
Completing fifth grade marks the successful conclusion of an important chapter in each student’s education. Throughout their elementary school years, students have developed essential skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
They have also grown in confidence, responsibility, independence, and character. The Elementary School Graduation ceremony provides an opportunity to recognize these accomplishments and celebrate the hard work that has prepared students for the challenges and opportunities of middle school.
This meaningful event honors not only our graduates but also the families, teachers, and staff members who have encouraged and supported them throughout their elementary school experience.
A Graduation and a New Beginning
Elementary School Graduation is both a celebration and a new beginning. While students are graduating from Franklin Academy’s elementary program, they will continue their education as sixth-grade students in Franklin Academy Middle School.
The transition to middle school introduces students to new academic experiences, increased independence, expanded responsibilities, and additional opportunities for leadership and personal growth.
Because students remain within the Franklin Academy K–12 community, they can begin this next chapter in a familiar and supportive environment. They will continue learning alongside friends, building relationships with teachers, and benefiting from the consistent educational values that have guided them throughout elementary school.
Looking Ahead to Sixth Grade
Sixth grade offers exciting opportunities for students to explore new subjects, strengthen their academic skills, and become more independent learners.
As members of Franklin Academy Middle School, students will be encouraged to think critically, manage greater responsibilities, participate in new activities, and prepare for the academic expectations of high school and beyond.
The transition from elementary school to middle school is an important step toward greater maturity. Franklin Academy’s faculty and staff are committed to helping every student approach this transition with confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm.

Families are invited to join Franklin Academy faculty, staff, and students in celebrating this memorable milestone. The Elementary School Graduation ceremony may include:

Although Elementary School Graduation marks the end of fifth grade, it does not mark the end of our students’ time at Franklin Academy. Our graduates will return as middle school students, ready to begin sixth grade and continue building the foundation for future academic success.
We are proud of everything our fifth-grade graduates have accomplished and look forward to supporting them throughout the next chapter of their Franklin Academy education.
