Franklin Academy is dedicated to providing an unparalleled K-12 educational experience, distinguished by our Trilingual Immersion curriculum, collegiate-level research programs, and exceptional faculty. We believe in complete transparency regarding the financial commitment required to join our academic community. Below is the official schedule of tuition, enrollment fees, and extended care options for the current academic year.

Comprehensive K-12 Tuition

Tuition by Academic Division

Kindergarten (K)

  • Annual Tuition: $25,000
  • Standard School Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Program Overview: Our Kindergarten program introduces students to our foundational Trilingual Immersion environment, focusing on early cognitive development, literacy, and social-emotional growth within a nurturing setting.

Elementary School (Grades 1–5)

  • Annual Tuition: $25,000
  • Standard School Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Program Overview: The Elementary division provides a rigorous, project-based curriculum where students achieve fluency in English, Mandarin, and Spanish, while building a robust foundation in STEM and the humanities.

Middle School (Grades 6–8)

  • Annual Tuition: $35,000
  • Standard School Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Program Overview: Designed to foster critical thinking and intellectual independence, our Middle School curriculum introduces advanced STEM challenges, leadership opportunities, and deeper cross-cultural studies.

High School (Grades 9–12)

  • Annual Tuition: $45,000
  • Standard School Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Program Overview: The High School division represents the pinnacle of college-preparatory excellence. Tuition encompasses our highly selective Early College Programs, the Franklin Research Internship Program (FRIP), and personalized university admissions counseling.

Financial Notice:

For the convenience of our families, Franklin Academy offers flexible monthly payment plans for the annual tuition.

Mandatory Application and Registration Fees

Enrollment & Administrative Fees

To formally initiate the enrollment process and secure a student’s placement for the academic year, the following non-refundable administrative fees apply:

  • New Student Application Fee: $300 (One-time fee per new applicant)
  • Annual Registration Fee: $2,500 (Required upon enrollment/re-enrollment)

Inclusions within the Registration Fee: The Registration Fee is a comprehensive charge designed to ensure students have all necessary resources from their first day on campus. It explicitly covers:

  • All textbooks and printed academic materials
  • General classroom and school supplies
  • The official Franklin Academy annual yearbook
  • A standardized student earthquake safety kit
  • Equipment and materials for science and research laboratories
  • One Live Scan background check per family (for campus security and volunteering)

 Policy Note:

The Application and Registration fees are strictly non-refundable. All posted fees are subject to administrative review and change.

Flexible Extended Care Solutions

Extended Care Program

Franklin Academy recognizes the scheduling demands placed upon modern working families. We offer a structured and secure Extended Care Program that operates outside of standard instructional hours.

(Note: A complimentary 15-minute grace period is provided following the official dismissal time before after-school charges apply.)

  • Before-School Care (7:30 AM until classes commence): $200 / month
  • After-School Care (School dismissal until 5:30 PM): $450 / month
  • Comprehensive Care (Both Before & After School): $600 / month
  • Occasional Drop-In Service: $20 / hour (Calculated and billed monthly)
